Community Action Services and Food Bank is a nonprofit organization in Provo, Utah, that provides a two-step process to solving poverty: first, to provide the resources to help stabilize the person’s crisis, and then to help them rebuild their life. Since 1967, our agency has helped stabilize the crises in the lives of people in need by meeting their basic critical needs (such as food and housing) while providing them with the long-term solutions needed to rebuild their financial and social self-sufficiency, enabling them to break out of poverty. https://www.communityactionprovo.org
Donations to Centro Hispano are essential and will be used to provide more technical job training, like electrician certification, helping the Latino community to obtain higher paying jobs in the community.

Utah Valley Refugees
Two ways to help: 1.We could use help from the local community in finding landlords and rental companies willing to learn about the refugee population and rent to them. We would love to provide education about refugees and the benefits of renting to them. We have a housing form for landlords to fill out if they'd like to connect with us and be a part of our housing directory. 2. We are working on expanding our Volunteer Provider Network of doctors, dentists, and specialists. It would be great to have the community help us spread the word about this. We are always searching for healthcare providers to join our network to assist refugees get access to safe and comprehensive care. Please direct them to our website to contact us!
Our mission is to assist refugees in their quest to become self-reliant. We do it by providing financial, legal, and educational aid; social support; and cultural assistance. https://utahvalleyrefugees.org
